Mariposa is Spanish for Butterfly. I chose this for the name of my company because I feel that the metamorphosis of the butterfly parallels with the metamorphosis of creating a beautiful bag. Like the butterfly, there is transformation from one form to a completely different one in several different stages. Choosing a pattern design, fabric, and hardware. Cutting out pattern pieces and sewing them together. Turning the bag right side out to reveal the beautiful bag!
